Subject: Manual position learning with Chessbase programs

Do any chess programs which run in the chessbase interface allow manual
additions to their learning file, if they have one? One good use for
this would be moving several moves down some line for a position, analysing
for whatever time, adding the result to the learning file and then
searching back from the original position. In this way yoou could search several
interesting variations over an extended period and be able to access them all
later on. The only program I am aware of that allows you to add learning
for an arbitary position is Crafty, but I don't know if this is possible
while using it as a UCI engine.

Thanks,
Andrew
