Reinstalled ProDeo, then created a uci engine as per usual. Didn't click on parameters, just clicked okay. Then I went into the wb2uci.eng file and changed w7 to w8 for 200mb hash. Loaded ProDeo for an engine v engine game, clicked on parameters and then saved them before starting the game. Works fine. Hope this helps anybody else who's been having difficulties. Graham.
