so pro deo is not only top ten, it seems it is maybe one of the top 3. not that bad for a freeware engine :-)) and i have read in some forums that ed schroeder is old and not "fresh" anymore and has given up and that this "end" is frustrating etc etc etc. seems there was a misunderstanding. i guess this is a trick of ed. he has a strong engine and suddenly makes it freeware. that looks for me like a nice trick, not like somebody resigning :-)) if Pro Deo has no problems on longer time controls against S8... who can stop it ?
