I need glasses, looked only to the percentages and thought AMD64 is faster for all three programs ;-( Could it be that Crafty does multithreading on PIV and gains from the second virtual Processor? Otherwise i would guess that this Crafty executable is very well optimized for PIV with a bunch of LOOP instructions, which perform badly on AMD. Gerd
