Did somebody look at the games to look for the reason that 19.14 did better than 19.15? I think that it is not an accident when old versions of Crafty again and again perform better in Igor's tournament and 16.19 was a long time the best version before being replaced by 19.14 Note that a possible reason may be learning and if 19.14 already learned some important information in previous tournaments of Igor about choice of the opening then it is possible that this information helped it to perform better.
