Does anyone out there have a function or method to produce a given board position with the least amount of moves? I would like something that would take a given position and return a result like: white would take 17 moves to reach this position black would take 19 moves to reach this position Any code, thoughts, speculations, references, links on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Chris
