Looks like a solid bit of software to help with alot of said problems. Hence why early on I had shelled out my $65 for Norton Internet Security package(came with Norton AntiVirus). Unfortunately for many PC security companies the new Service Pack 2 from Windows "supposedly" will do many of the same things, and "fix" alot of the holes left open for a long time now. Myself, well my subscription ends this week for Norton package and figured on waitng thru the next month to let MS come out with its package of fixes and see which way the wind will blow for Norton/Symantec and see how it all pops up, so to speak. Always with the attitude of "if its free, then its for me!" as long as it does not interfere with my other protection packages. This may very well be a very good bridge for many people until the other companies get a handle on their new offerings. My understanding is that many of the top companies like Symantec/Norton already have the new Service pack and are busy and all get out tryin to write code for new versions of their security so they can mantain market shares. From what one little birdie told me through a window, it may be 2-3 months before any EFFECTIVE new programs come out. Most will just be same old software with new additions as they find holes, they will keep current subscribers updated, but no real gains. And we all know MS wont have any holes in it this time, cuz "Billie" said so, lol. 80Mb of pure fix it right this time?Get what you can while you can. Just be aware that many of the light and free versions that will be coming out in next few weeks to months will be obsolete as soon as you grab the ServicePack2 update.
