hi all with all of the frenzied,wide-eyed,white knuckeled activity due to the new releases of Pro Deo and CM10K i feel a posting is desperately needed about the old Dedicated computers.. one of my all-time favorites would have to be the Fidelity Elite Premiere the only computer to be released to contain two seperate and distinct programs the Fidelity Mach III program (2000 Elo) and the 1991 World Champion Mephisto Vancouver 16 bit program(2100 Elo) Fidelity was acquired by Mephisto in 1992 and this was the first computer released by the merged companies, therefore the dual program the program could be switched from one to the other by way of a lever that was located under the front panel of the computer housed in the beautiful Elite A/G wooden board and one of the few chess computers today that is worth more then it origanlly sold for enjoy: http://www.schachcomputer.at/premiere.jpg Best Steve
