Didn't the game end with Kaissa a knight ahead? I seem to remember something
like that. Also the tournament featured an astounding loss by Chess 4.0 to
another program?

Thanks! I love computer chess books. Reading David Levy's book on computer chess
history inspired me to write my own program!

Maybe soon my program can join the "under 2000" club. :) I finally got it
playing real games today! Hooray!!! I am going to try to get it an account at
FICS as soon as possible; at least when I think up a name for it.
