Hear, hear ... :-)

I do not know what your PPC/PowerMac has cost or what it costs today. But I
definitely know that a 533MHz Samsung Alpha-21164a CPU and mainboard cost
exactly as much (in Germany!) as an according 400MHz AMD K6-2 combination.

They should be even cheaper in the US and the last time I checked, a 533MHz
DEC 21164PC CPU with an original DEC mainboard cost even 30% less. So much
for affordability of true 64-bit machines ... (ah, yes, Linux comes for free
on all these beasts :-).
