Yes. Eg. here in Hungary we would pronounce Trice as it is written: Treetze :-)
In Italy: Treeche, in France Tris ... etc.
My christian name is the hungarian version of Michael, the pronunciation is
Me - hi :-) (Me as I and hi as the common short greeting...)
