Yes, in some versions of Fritz it seems to use the latest stringvalue as default
and discard the default sent by the engine. An easy fix to this is to add the
default value to the end of the list.

Program = prodeo.exe w7 Rebel.eng

Personality=setvar personality personal\%s.eng|combo|Rebel|...|...|Rebel

The first 'Rebel' here is what the engine (adapter) tell the gui what it use as
default. It is important that this value is the same as in the 'Program' line
because this value isn't needed to be sent to the engine if the user didn't do
any changes.
This 'default' value must be repeated in the list so it is shown in the
combobox, but because of this 'bug' it should be repeated at the end. Other
gui's will get it right wherever this value exist so it doesn't do any damage to
them.

It's been avail since I tested this so it could very well be Ok in the latest
Fritz's.
