I should add that the settings, despite the bugs described in the beginning of the thread, have obtained excellent positions quite consistently against Junior 8. It could be that it is simply tuned against it, so this bears investigating, but for any interested, here are my settings for Pro Deo S&D (Seek and Destroy).
