But Martin have develops a "Restarter" !! Perhaps this solved the problem and perhaps you test it and send a new comment about the problem! 02. Give me examples for the dialog boxes you write! I need examples, only your opinion without a clear defination is for us not very interesting. Give me examples please and we try to make it better. This is the most important point for us, we have interest to make it better but we need clearly opinions by users. 03. I expect from an excellent software a lot! No program can give me that what I expect. Arena is in the near, we have a lot to do, a lot ideas, the users have a lot of ideas and the complete team which help us. If we expect an excellent software we can give up the development of Arena. But for me Arena is clearly the number one from all available GUIs I know. The reason is easy ... each persons which used chess software await different things. I am very happy because I await a good compatibility. This is for me the most important point for a good chess GUI. Bugfixes: Yes, we collect the bugs in an open system. A lot of persons are thinking ... "Arena must have a lot of bugs". I don't think so ... I believe Arena is the most stabil software because all the bugs which are open reported the programmer try to fixed. The most companys (not chess only) have the problem that users don't reported problems or the programmer of the programs can't solved the problems. I know different programmers with work in bigger company's and different have the following opinion: A bug! OK, not an important bug and I don't have to solved the bug! But of course: For the most is this a little problem because the users can read in our buglist but can't read in an other buglist of development chess GUIs. And now a lot of persons are thinking ... "Oh Arena is Freeware (Freeware in Germany seems to be a bad word) and the most are thinking ... "So many mistakes" ... We like the constellation to work in open systems! I know that Arena works for all the complicated options very stabil. Thanks for your opinion! I hope of more impressions to the point you speak about it! Best Frank
