It is a small liberal arts college in southern minnesota. This part of the country has a lot of residents with scandinavian heritage, and Gustavus has always affiliated itself with it's swedish heritage, although I'm not sure what the significance of the affiliation is. (I think perhaps the founders were swedish) When I attended there the King of Sweden actually came to our little town and visited for a while, I did not get a chance to meet him however. Eric PS. I'm proud to say that my younger brother, Vincent Lombardi Oldre, left last night for his first year at gustavus. I'm happy he chose to go there and carry on the "family tradition".
