> >The winning bidder was from overseas amd must have backed out -- note the >emphasis on US bidders only this time around. >The winning bidder was from overseas amd must have backed out -- note the >emphasis on US bidders only this time around. could be, but it could also be the buyer realized after the "heat of battle"that the price was way out of line a nice Phantom is worth no more then $400-$500 tops and thats with the dust cover,which this one does not have. note that the second highest bidder was from the USA also note that there was a huge jump from the 3rd bidder to the second $325->$600 my bet.. the winning bidder simply backed out.. the seller contacted the second bidder and he/she declined to purchase it at $600(also too high) the third bidder at $325 was too low in the sellers opinion and so we see a re-listing it amazes me how many people bid and then for whatever reason simply do not pony up. the problem i think is the worthless "feedback" system Ebay employs many sellers are hesitant to leave a negative feedback against a clearly deserving dead beat buyer for fear of receiving a negetive feedback in return hence the seller simply forgets it and moves on my prediction.. this Phantom will not sell for the $550 opening bid there will be no bidders Best Steve
