>Hi Martin, > >your reasoning seems very plausible. thanks >all three cases people deserve a negative assessment but in different shades, >imho.>I think there's simply no perfect solution to that problem. as i have never sold anything on Ebay i cant speak from the sellers perpestive but as a buyer i can say my "feedback" philosophy... if i do not receive the item i won EXACLTY as it appeared in the auction description ...first i contact the seller and give them every opprotuntiy to cure the problem.. if and only if the seller is unwilling to correct the problem then i leave negative feedback and i will take my chances with the sellers revenge i of course then blacklist that seller on my own records and i notify many of my friends who i know to use Ebay(other chess collectors and even those not interested in chess ) one comforting thing i can mention.. Generally people who dont do the right thing on Ebay dont stay as members very long ..they come and go.. the honerable buyers and sellers tend to stay on.. Best Steve > >Best, >Martin
