negascout _is_ a variant of alpha/beta pruning...

Hardly anyone.  Berliner uses B* in Hitech, but only in the opening/middlegame,
then he reverts back to alpha/beta/PVS in endings...

ICCA Journal is a good place, as are AI textbooks.  But so far,nothing has
come close to replacing alpha/beta...
