Just because of the subject of the thread (the question mark), I thought a proof would be nice (which a mate score is). With more aggressive TB probing, Yace typically shows mate score faster in such positions. It can show the win with default settings, too, but as you have seen, it won't show the mate score that fast. The hash table size and some luck with the size might also play a role. Cheers, Dieter
