Hi, I have the information from one of the own fora. See the thread in the non password protected Arena Event Forum: http://f27.parsimony.net/forum67213/messages/2581.htm I gave different information I have in an answer of the message by Uri: http://f27.parsimony.net/forum67213/messages/2607.htm I have bad experience with such things! Thinking on Voyager or LaPetite/LaGrande I added for one day on Frank's Chess Page download area (now the download area from Leo Dijksman). In this time I can't believe it because I switched over years information with the programmer of Voyager Gabriele Müller. I never had the feeling that he works with a work from an other person. In this time Bob wrote a clear mail and I got a copy of this mail. The reaction from Gabriele Müller of this clear mail by Bob was very very bad and I abort the contact to Gabriele. Now it seems that the programmer of Eugen / programmers of ELChinito have a problem! Last year with Ruffian, before Leiden 2003 started. Vincent Diepeveen gave this information (I believe he sayed clone of Shredder) and Perola sent sources to Theo. This bad situation was solved and Ruffian won this tourney. I hope that Eugenio and Bob can solved the situation in a mail. This is not a topic for a computer chess forum because more persons loosed the interest to make a little bit after such discuss (after my experience). If sources are available it's in my opinion very good and unfortunately bad too. The medal have two sites! In fact: I can't know it and believe that the chinese chess World champion have no interest to used sources from Bob for ELChinito. Read the message I wrote in Arena Event Forum. You can find different information about ELChinito by Eugenio Castilla (Spain) and Pascal TANG (France) ... partners of the the Arena Chess GUI. If I have a clear prof that ELChinito is a clone from Crafty I will delete the program from Arena webpage. At the moment I don't have a clear prof and only the programmer of Crafty can give it to me. I believe Eugenio will not have a problem to send Bob material to check it. Best Frank
