Hi Bob,

that's Bob Hyatt live.

If I read your words it seems you are a little bit disappointed about different
things in the past. But you have give the community a lot and you have no reason
for it (my opinion if I am right).

Have the same opinion about it what you have written!

In the case of ELChinito:
The "main" programmer Eugenio work a long time on "Eugen" and participant on
different Spain-ch, French programmer tournament in Massy. He have good contacts
to the group of French chess programmers and after all I know Eugenio is very
popular in this group of programmers. Not to do that maybe or perhaps the
programmer created a clone of Crafty.

The chess program Eugen are a dos program and very very strong. I believe if
ELChinito today have a playing level around 2.550 ELO the older DOS program is
playing with around 2.350-2.400 ELO, perhaps a little bit more!

For me it's an important topic now because I have no interest to add a clone
from Crafty on my webpage. If you have any clear information for me that your
sources are copyed by the ELChinito team I will delete the program, same for
others programs!

Thanks for your comments!
I have written a mail to you and the programmers of ELChinito.

I am sure Eugenio will send you a mail / answer.

Best
Frank

PS:
You have written:
"If someone isn't honest, there is little to be done about it."

For me the most important sentence I ever read in a chess forum and much persons
have to think about it.
