The thing that lends credibility to his comments are his mention of "bugs".
These "bugs" are the results of changes that left bits and pieces of worthless
code here and there.  IE the EvaluateMate() return value of 99999 that no longer
happens (it used to notice that there was insufficient material but that was
moved elsewhere in EvaluateDraws() but the test was left around.)

He obviously did more than just a quick peek.  He actually looked at the Crafty
code to pick up such unnecessary tests, and then used them to show that someone
copied without understanding, at least those parts that he presented.

IE I don't get the sense that this is some sort of sensationalistic attempt to
discredit someone.  Rather an honest attempt to "right a wrong"...
