Hi Matthias
My knowledge of the English language is limited and I do
not check all the words I am using for their correct meaning.
Now I have learnt (The Concise Oxford Dictionary) the following
about 'rumour': "General talk, report, or hearsay, of doubtful
accuracy; a or the current but unverified statement or assertion".
It was of course not my intention to discredit the work of Paul H.
