It's not easy writing in a language that is not your first.  Correcting mistakes
could be construed as criticism.  I wouldn't do this unless it appeared that the
error led to some misunderstanding.

I'm not annoyed by the mistakes of non-native speakers.  What's really annoying
are the native speakers who write like:  M stupid.  R u stupid 2?
