Subject: Hiarcs freezes when using -X option (64mb hash tables)

I have a problem with Hiarcs 5 and 6 on a PII-450 system. When I boot up
WIN98 and choose the "Safe mode command prompt only" option, and
then start HIARCS with the -X option to achieve max 64mb hash tables, my system
freezes. I know of 2 other people with PII-4xx systems who have the same
problem. The programmer of Hiarcs knows about my problem but has not given
me any feedback...  (: (: (:

Has anyone else run into this ?

P.S. Hiarcs does work fine on my system when using a normal WIN98 DOS box with
128k hash tables
