The readme was written by Frank, not Eugenio Castillo.

I discerned that ElChinito used the crafty framework in 2003. I exchanged
emails with Eugenio Castillo about it. I suggested that he make the project
open source and give attributions (both according to the crafty license) and
that he should discuss it with Dr. Hyatt.

He did try to contact Dr. Hyatt, according to email that I received Sat

"i've write to Hyatt but still no answers, i do it 2
times in 3 days (the public email from icdchess). This
can be good or very bad."

I assumed that somehow the matter hand been straightened out. It might be good
for Dr. Hyatt to check his email archives. Perhaps something appeared to be
spam but was actually an attempt to arbitrate the situation and has been
overlooked.
