Do you have himem.sys loaded? With a memory manager Hiarcs -x won't work. Before
loading Hiarcs, you can type mem /p and see if himem.sys is loaded. It shouldn't
be.

I have no problems at all on PII-400s with 256MB RAM, with W95 and now with W98.
