> c) members can pay a yearly fee to belong > d) members can voluntarily contribute > hi Steve as a long time customer of ICD i appreciate the CCC you maintain even though i only discovered it about 2 years ago i would be willing to pay a fee to remain a member.. a number of thoughts though.. the donations thingy is a problem i think because if not enough pony up we are still looking at the same problem would it be less time consuming and less expensive to eliminate the CTF? perhaps a combination of a fee for the CCC with the elimination of the CTF would make the required membership fee smaller? the CTF has nothing to do with chess and basically (in my opinion) is a sounding board for rascist,anti-semetic , neo-nazi, anti-US ranting's and ravings. while there are a handful of members that do make an attempt to post intelligent ,well reasoned messages,sadly,by far and away they are the exception rather then the rule so in short.. i would gladly pay to play but i think it best to eliminate the CTF all together and concentrate on things computer chess Best Steve
