Hi Steve, I am sorry to hear that message, but I understand the reasons. I am thankful for all those years of CCC, I have learned a lot from it. I might be willing to pay a fee for CCC if it's a reasonable one (and yes, I agree with the members that won't pay for keeping also CTF, I am interested in computer chess programming and not those rants) But what are the costs of maintaining CCC ? Maybe some member could provide the bandwidth as James Swafford so kindly did for the search engine and some of us could write the software as to automate all maintenance ? Can someone estimate the amount of bandwidth that is consumed by CCC daily ? I might try to find some free time to help programming automatic maintenance of CCC if that is needed ...
