Higher resolutions will only give you more room for the support windows. 2) It is believed, through several tournaments that have been played here and elsewhere between CM6000 and other computer chess programs, that CM6000 plays anywhere from 50 to 150 rating points better than CM5000. The highest rating that I've seen for it (with a top-end processor) is around 2650. 3) A FULL installation? Well, it's a 2-CD application, and, if you want EVERYTHING on your hard drive, it's well over 1 GB. The TYPICAL installation is only 45 MB, and the setup program allows customization of which portions of the program (apart from the tutorials, which are on CD 2) that you want to install. jm
