and i disagree
you see what happens when someone assumes the responsibility to maintain some
thing for free
we get a search engine that has been down for 3 months because the person
maintaining it had a conflict with the engine and personal needs


if the site is to be maintained with the proper moderation and at the high level
of content  and reliability we have all come to expect then there must be some
financial  interest to the individual responsible for maintaining the site.

we are not talking about thousands or even hundreds of dollars in membership
fees here.
i imagine a number less then $100 or even $75 per annum would be all Steve
needed

it always amazes me how the people who take the most advantage of something when
it is free are the first to jump ship when they have to dig alittle in their
pockets
