Hi Steven, First, thanks for these years of work. They're much appreciated. I can't see a good solution. Paying for this is not an option for me. I don't have much money to spend and also I expect a fee to make many people leave the forum, so people who remain would have to pay more... for a couple of posts a day... This place is good for three basic reasons (IMO): 1. it's free, 2. it's (well) moderated, 3. it has good debates. Going to USENET would lose 2 (and possibly 3), and paying would lose 1 (and possibly 3). If there's a chance to get an sponsor (like Thomas suggested), that would be best IMHO. Everything would remain the same except for a few ads. No problem with that. If not, another hoster would be needed. There's the risk of too many changes, but at least 1, 2 and 3 would remain almost the same. Otherwise, I'd just post only in wb forum, which is also moderated and free, or any other forum like it.
