For some $10-20 is a lot of money for others negligible. If we don't manage it, with all voting for c,d (and probably some more) to collect enough money on voluntarily base, then lets take option a) or b). Some sponsoring and moderate advertisement would also be fine to reduce some costs, IMHO. An ICGA- or some university logo in the page header - why not. Aren't most of us not so AMD friendly? There might be some legal issues to solve, is it a friendly society or a pure commercial IDC-department? Is there a public cost or budget overwiew? I have no idea whether some professional chess programmers may set off a contribute or fee against tax liability. There might be some future problems if some contributors claims "special" rights and got attacked by some none contributor. And there might be some fluctiations of course. IMHO CCC/CTF is worth some bucks, even i have respect to all who don't like to pay. Gerd
