Since it participates in several offical computer chess events I had never the impression that i could not be fully original... I compare this a bit with the situation of Crafty SE of Mike Byrne. And there is a huge difference. With Mike is nothing hidden, everybody knows that he experiments with Crafty (hehe, somehow the name gives here a hint... :) When somebody take part at computer chess events this usually includes a rule that his program must be original. Hasn't an ElChinito version taken part in last CCT ? Can't remember... Greets, Thomas
