I think the exposure has accomplished that

I think we won't have to worry about that.  Only the engines that are near to
the strength of crafty are really suspect.

I think that the logical recourse is to follow the directions in the copyright.
That is to say, he should indicate that it is a crafty clone and also publish
the source code.
