If you count the additional overhead incured by all the fancy html formatting I
bet you will get higher numbers than actual text-only format that is used at
CCC.

But come on, I think it's a bit silly to think that replies consume such amount
of bandwidth ! As I said before : when I hosted CCC Search I got around 30
MB/day max in a busy day IIRC. And here in Romania the bandwidth is very
expensive, but outside I saw offers under $50/month which provide unlimited and
decent bandwidth.

P.S. Indeed I found an extreme case where someone posted a 600 KB message some
time ago with many many matches analysed by fritz but this is an exception.
