I am actually considering putting this info and more in the pawn hash table, but haven't implemented it yet. The idea is to compute the piece/square tables and other parameters as a function of the pawn structure, in order to improve the positional evaluation. Long term goal would be a program that plays a different and possibly more interesting style with respect to a style that favors tactics. For this, I would be more than happy to sacrifice a bit of search depth, even if it means losing more to other engines.
