Subject: I'm tired of people asking "What if Hydra was on a slower computer"

Hi,
-Rant On-
I can't seem to read one damn thread or discussion about hydra on playchess
server before I run into this damn question,
"Well how good would hydra be if it was running on a desktop?"
The answer,
not very good at all, but who cares?

You aren't comparing apples and apples here, you cannot, its rediculous to do so
as they are totally different entities.

A great example is a Goliath Beetle and an Elephant.

A Goliath beetle can put 50 times its own weight on its back, strongest creature
in the animal world. Now, an elephant on the other hand can only put 25% its
own body weight on its back, so which is stronger?
the elephant, which is stronger for its size? the beetle, but if the challenge
was to see who can pull the heaviest load, your going to put all your money on
the elephant,

I don't see why people are so obsessed with 'what if's'?

Desktop computers are being blown apart on the playchess server by hydra,
your comparing a beetle and an elephant,
the only person who cares that the beetle is stronger for his size is....the
beetle.
