I've never said it. I've never implied it. I don't know, but it seems quit easy to me to understand what he means. You're a well known for posting a lot here about how good DB was and that current programs aren't close to it yet etc etc. (I won't dig quotes but I *am sure* there are lots to find) Nothing can ever get better -> I can understand him saying that given your attitude in the past. You've always minimized the current programs performance compared to DB, without any factual basis most of the time. Compare the statement to the "Samuels program has solved checkers" attitude that the Chinook team coped with. Basically, this kind of posts are "masterpieces" by you, not so much by Vincent, I fear. -- GCP
