That means that they crush all opposition (similar to what Fischer did in his 20 consecutive wins over GMs). However, if a company does something like that, regardless of how many jobs they create worldwide (inside and outside of their company), how much stability they bring to a global market, they are criticized for it. If an individual does it (such as Fischer or Kasparov), then they are acclaimed for it. Fischer had (and has) a lot of questionable beliefs and often acted like a spoiled child. However, GMs today are glad he insisted on better conditions for the top players and are not quite so critical of him today as they were 30 years ago.
