hi Steve >59 members have contributed a total of $1935. That is an average donation >of $32.80. The donations have ranged from $5 to $250. >>What appears to have happened is that about 1% of the total membership >and, perhaps, 6% to 12% of the "active" membership, has responded to our plea >for donations. That is a bit disppointing considering the fact that even the >elections manage to bring out 200 or so people. a shockingly low number of members have decided to pony up anything so far. even lower then my earlier guesstimates of about 20% of all active members(posters or lurkers) hopefully the combination of it being vacation season( here and abroad )and the fact that many European members are hesitant to use Paypal and hopefully might have mailed you the donation instead, will turn things around my gut from the getgo was to go with the membership fee because i expected the donations option would turn in a very anemic performance .its just too easy to let someone else pay and go right ahead using the board as before. i hope i am proven dead wrong Anemic Regards Steve
