Subject: Fischer Random Chess - engine matches/tournaments

CB calls it shuffle chess, and allows you to set up a new game with either an
opening designated by number, or a random opening consistent with the rules for
setting up the back rank for both sides. It seems to me this could be a good
test for engines as it should completely eliminate the effect of opening
knowledge, even such knowledge built into the engine, however I can see no way
to designate "random" chess in S8 GUI for either engine matches or engine
tourneys. Have I missed something?

If the openings could be set up as a test suite, such as Nunn 1 or 2, i.e., an
opening position, that should work in CB. Does anyone know if there is such a
database anywhere? Thanks.

Chris
