The difference is obvious - inclusivity implies that every member is welcome and celebrated regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, creed, color, and religion etc no matter what. This forum should not tolerate any member that makes any member or group of feel unwelcome due to gender, race, ethnicity, creed, color, and religion etc. and any posts that do this should simply not be tolerated. There have been a few permanent bannings during the past 12 months resulting from members posting inappropriate comments regarding the above. It my belief that CTF should follow the same principles. There is more than enough hate in the world already, there is no need for Corporate sponsorship. Also, since we are now paying for CCC, discussions regarding CCC/CTF linkage are appropriate within the guidelines of the CCC charter. Others may disagree with that, which is ok with me. I did not let the current linkage of CCC/CTF dissuade me from donating to CCC. However, I will work within the system to ultimately break the CCC/CTF linkage or change CTF. Very simply, it will make my day to see CCC/CTF linkage broken or better yet for CTF to adopt inclusivity and celebration of diversity principles as part of its charter. Then you can have a real Chess Thinker’s Forum. Best regards, Michael Byrne
