On my machine the problem exeist regardless of the number of colors. The fix is
explained in the T-Notes section of ChessBase USA's website. Steve Lopez
explains how to set your graphics acceleration to the minimum value. This solves
the problem on my machine but requires you to reboot for the change to take
effect. However, I have other games that require this setting to be at maximum
so this is not a very good fix. I contacted Steve about other possible solutions
but he was not aware of any at this time. The problem does not seem to exist
when running Fritz 5 under Windows NT. Just WinCrap 95/98.
