I agree to that, Pro Deo "always" loose in the endgame. And by the way, on average it was about 100 ELO weaker than Hiarcs 9. Probably 50 of them comming from lost endgames. I believe TB's to be more important than Ed thinks. The programs often stear out of bad lines when they hit 100% proof that its a bad line in the search. So the TBs work a long time before you actually are in a 5 or 6 piece endgame. (I hope I'm not wrong here... :-) ) Torstein
