With all due to respect, but I think you have no idea what you're talking about.
CTF is not more trashy than any other place humans inhabit. There are human
beings posting on that forum. Human beings with all their ingenuity, superb
ideas and also their stupid, racist and naive views (such as creationsim).
That's life. The vast majority of posters are very well behaving, intelligent
and respectful persons. Of course, some people post views and ideas which can be
regarded as racistic, trashy or whatever. Luckily, for every of these posts,
many arguments against these ideas are posted as well. That is an inherent
important point in any productive thinking process. What is a disatrous criminal
statement for one persons can be totally logical for another. Nothing is wrong
with that unless people get hurt or violate laws. The very basic nature of ideas
is that they have to be presented. CTF is a good (yet not perfect) place for
that. Since it is a discussion forum, it is only logical that a lot of topics
are controversial, if not, they would be no need to discuss them. Personally, I
think the 'value' of CTF outweights CCC easily.

Axel
