(The offensive poster, not Steve). That's what I don't like about CTF - it's just a forum for immaturity, hate, rascism, and ad hominem attacks. If some posters on CCC "need" to vent on CTF, to remain civil on CCC, then they should simply grow up. I don't care if their program can beat God, or can't beat a 4 year old in chess. If anyone here can't stay civil and post like adults, they should adjourn to the sandbox. Every program will make stupid moves from time to time, but there's no need or justification for calling the programmer stupid, etc. Likewise, if the program's time management is dumb, there's no need to call the programmer a dummy. Maybe he/she made a dumb decision with the algorithim chosen, but lots of trials are necessary to improve an engine, even a little. Saying we "need CTF" to vent, is like saying we "need diapers" for when we choose to shit our britches. Why do we need such a choice, let alone a "club" for that kind of behavior? Dave
