I just received the following response from David Hatchett of Applied Computer Concepts Ltd. (Hiarcs) with respect to the problems some people are experiencing with Hiarcs 7. "Dear Steve, Mark has been trying to look at this problem, but so far he does not have an answer. From our information, it appears that the problem only occurs on a limited set of DELL machines which have lots of RAM. We do not have direct access to one of these machines so finding a solution is difficult. It would appear that these machines are invisibly loading some form of driver in high memory. Would any of your customers who have experienced this problem be willing to work with us to find a solution? Mark could email them a prototype executable in an attempt to pin down the problem.
