Digging for some old chess programs i opened POWER CHESS 1.0 after many years. But when i tried to make it play against Shredder 8.0, an unpleasant suprise was waiting me: Power Chess 1.0 consumed all CPU resources, so Shredder was running with ~13 kN/second (Actually it was Run386.exe that was working all the time and used around 78% of CPU). Does anyone know any solution for this? I mean to play with Power Chess 1.0 against another engine (on the same PC). A good solution is if there is a program that pauses(prevents them from using CPU resources) some other programs (Run386.exe) for a while and then starts them again. Also a trick like Chessmaster 5000, where after CM5000 makes a move you have to press HELP->"About Chessmaster" and then you have full power for other engines, would be also ideal.
