The engines were often out of book at move 4 or 5.
You really think thats an experiment about opening books?

Two examples to prove my point:

[D] r1bqk2r/ppp2pbp/2nppnp1/8/2PPP3/P1N2N2/1P2BPPP/R1BQK2R b KQkq - 0 7

Here Jonny out of book played 7...d5?
This is obviously a mistake. White should be much better after 8.e5.
However Movei managed to lose this game.

[D] rnbqk2r/pp3ppp/2p1pn2/3p4/2PP4/P1P2P2/4P1PP/R1BQKBNR w KQkq - 0 7

The last book move 6...c6 is not very popular.
Movei came up with 7.cxd5? (Thank you very much) exd5 8.g4 and got smashed.
The results of such games tell us nothing about the opening books used.

Conclusion:
It was just a random result.
